Red Hot Chili Peppers Reschedule Tour

Dates pushed back due to singer Anthony Kiedis' foot injuries.

<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/red_hot_chili_peppers/artist.jhtml" target="_blank">Red Hot Chili Peppers</a> fans have waited this long to hear the band play songs from their Grammy-nominated latest release, I'm With You. And they're going to have to wait a bit longer. The band announced on Wednesday that it has been forced to reschedule the <a href="/news/articles/1674990/red-hot-chili-peppers-tour.jhtml">previously announced dates</a>  for it's U.S. tour due to foot injuries suffered by singer Anthony Kiedis. According to a release announcing the new dates, Kiedis, 49, recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot. He's expected to make a full recovery, but in the meantime a series of shows that were supposed to kick off on January 20 in Sunrise, Florida have now been pushed back to late March and April.
