Band's co-founder celebrates the album's 30th anniversary on the road this fall.

<P>Three decades after Pink Floyd's epic double-album head trip, <i>The Wall,</i> blew a generation's mind, the band's co-founder Roger Waters will perform the entire rock opera in concert again on an upcoming tour. </P><P> </P><P>Waters left Pink Floyd in 1984 but has continued to perform his iconic songs as a solo artist for years. The <i>Wall</i> tour will mark the 30th anniversary of the British psychedelic rockers' debut of the now legendary stage show for the ambitious album about isolation and madness. </P><P> </P><P>On the tour, Rogers has promised to perform an updated version of the original stage show, which included the construction of a massive white brick wall between the audience and performers during the course of the show. The band performed the album in its entirety on its 1980-1981 tour, and Waters revived it for a star-studded event in 1990 that was filmed in front of a massive 500,000-person audience to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany. </P><P> </P><P>Waters' 35-date solo tour will kick off on September 15 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and is slated to wrap up on December 13 in Anaheim, California. </P><P> </P><P>"Thirty years ago, when I wrote <I>The Wall,</I> I was a frightened young man," Waters said in an interview with <a href="http://www.spinner.com/2010/04/12/roger-waters-the-wall-tour/" target="_blank">Spinner.com</a>. "It took me a long time to get over my fears. In the intervening years it has occurred to me that maybe the story of my fear and loss with its concomitant inevitable residue of ridicule, shame and punishment, provides an allegory for broader concerns: nationalism, racism, sexism, religion, whatever!
