Justin Bieber Says He's 'Too Young' To Marry

'It doesn't mean Selena is not the right person though,' he says of waiting a bit before he ties the knot, to anyone.
By Jocelyn Vena

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/gomez__selena/artist.jhtml">Selena Gomez</a> <a href="/news/articles/1683577/justin-bieber-selena-gomez-not-engaged.jhtml">denied engagement reports</a> last week. And it seems that the Biebs, at age 18, is definitely not ready to get married. Doing press in Europe to spread the message about his new album, <i>Believe,</i> he was asked if he was ready to walk down the aisle with his actress/singer girlfriend. </P><P> </P><P>"No, I'm too young. One day, I will get engaged, when I have found the right person in five or 10 years. It doesn't mean Selena is not the right person though!" he told <i>Le Parisien,</i> <a href="http://www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/justinbieber/view/45711/?isworld=y" target="_blank">Pressparty.com</a> reports. "She's going to kill me if I say that!" </P><P> </P><P><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:757407/cp~vid%3D757407%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A757407" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed> </P><P> </P><P>The singer then talked a bit about having people constantly speculate about his relationship with Gomez. "It is not easy to be so young and to have a relationship with someone that doesn't stay private," he said. "But, well, I am a public personality, it is what I wanted, so I have to deal with it." </P><P> </P><P>Earlier this year, Bieber opened up to MTV News about <a href="/news/articles/1680289/justin-bieber-18th-birthday-fan-questions.jhtml">wanting to be a young dad</a>. "I see myself in 10 years having a family," he said. "Twenty-eight, that's a good time to really have a family 'cause I want to be a young dad. Maybe, [it's a] long time away though. Don't get any ideas, people. It's not happening anytime soon." </P><P> </P><P>Well, perhaps if he follows his own <a href="/news/articles/1682957/justin-bieber-boyfriend-tips.jhtml">ground rules to being a great boyfriend</a>, then one day he really will make some special lady happy. "I don't know if I'm even the best boyfriend," Bieber said on the set of his video for "Boyfriend." "But I can give a few suggestions. I think being honest and patient, because girls can be tough sometimes, so you just got to be patient. That's two. Forgive, and have fun, because it's about having fun. Last one? Be faithful."</p>

MUSICAL CHICKS: Alicia Keys Debuts New "Not Even The King" Song At MTV UPFRONTS + Brandy & Kalenna Hit The BMI Showcase

Brandy decided to stop by the BMI Showcase in Atlanta last night to catch former Dirty Money chick Kalenna Harper and a few other acts flaunt their best performance skills to the crowd of industry execs. Pics of the ladies, plus Alicia Keys debuting a new song at the MTV Upfronts....

Atlanta’s music community gathered up for BMI Presents: Live From Loews the “Know Them Now” edition last night at the Loews Atlanta Hotel.  Kalenna, India Shawn, Tiffany Bleu, and Shay Mooney all performed.  And Brandy was spotted snapping pics with the former Dirty Money chick.

This makeup, hair & outfit though girl....

Brandy also hit the stage with BMI Vice President, Writer/Publisher Relations Catherine Brewton.  Wonder if Brandy's in the ATL to gear up for final episodes of "The Game".  Or maybe even the next season.

Over in NYC, Alicia Keys hit up the MTV Upfronts yesterday as their special performer as the network previewed their upcoming shows for the new season:

And the mom of Egypt Dean hit the stage with a brand new song called "Not Even The King":

Pitbull Goes 'Back In Time' On 'Men In Black' Video Set

Mr. Worldwide walks MTV News through his 'Back in Time' music video set.

Not only does the "Men in Black" movie franchise boast great acting and stunning visual effects, each of the three films features a pretty kicking soundtrack as well. For "Men in Black 3," which hits theaters May 25, Pitbull contributes the lead single, "Back in Time."

MTV News caught up with Mr. Worldwide on the Los Angeles set of the "Back in Time" video and he gave us a pretty cool walk-through.

"What we're doing here, to sum it up in layman's terms, is making history," Pit said. "The concept is basically all about the movie. The slogan for the movie is 'Back in Time.' In the record I say, 'In order to understand the future we have to go back in time.' "

The clip not only features "MIB3" movie scenes, it was actually filmed on the movie set, blending the Miami rapper's performance shots seamlessly into Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones' action shots. "As far as the sets that you see right now, it's just integrating and running parallel with everything that you see in the movie," Pitbull explained.

It was the Fresh Prince himself who recorded the theme songs — 1997's "Men in Black" and 2002's "Black Suits Comin' " — for the first two installments of the "MIB" trilogy. For the upcoming flick, Pit took over and used a sample of Mickey and Sylvia's 1950s classic "Love Is Strange" for inspiration.

Now that he's clocked his first collaboration with Big Willie, Pitbull hopes that they can work together some more. "I would love to follow in Will Smith's footsteps," he said. "We're working on the music for the movie, and hopefully, one day, we'll work in a movie together."

What do you think of Pitbull's "Back in Time" video? Tell us in the comments!

Gina Carano Ready To Get Her 'Feet Wet' In 'Fast & Furious 6'

'I'm going to go from the 'Haywire' crew to the 'Fast 6' crew, so I'm going to get a very broad range of knowledge,' she tells MTV News.

Action fans rejoiced earlier this week when The Hollywood Reporter announced that MMA fighter-turned-actor Gina Carano was in talks to join the sixth "Fast & Furious" movie. It seemed like an inspired choice for the series that saw new life after "Fast Five" impressed last year.

MTV News caught up with the breakout star while she was promoting the Blu-ray release of "Haywire," and she spoke excitedly about the prospects of joining the action series.

"We got a call about two weeks ago to do 'The Fast and the Furious 6,' " Carano said. "We're in negotiations for that, so if that goes through, that will be a really cool opportunity for me to get my feet wet on another big-budget film and be around all these different types of actors."

Carano seemed pleased at the idea of appealing to different bases of fans within the action genre, moving from the art-house appeal of "Haywire" to the mainstream explosions of "Fast & Furious."

"I'm going to go from the 'Haywire' crew to the 'Fast 6' crew, so I'm going to get a very broad range of knowledge as far as people go," she said. "It's like two different high school groups. You've got the very artistic, and then you've got the action group of athletes, like hard-core. Very different personalities there."

Carano is in negotiations to play a member of Dwayne Johnson's team in the upcoming sequel directed by "Fast Five" helmer Justin Lin. As for whether Carano has begun sizing up her soon-to-be castmates, she said that's not something she has to think about. "No, I'm pretty secure. I don't need to size anybody up. I'm not worried about that. I'm worried about giving a good performance and understanding my character. That's what I'll focus on."

The actress wouldn't say for sure how close she was to signing on, but remained optimistic about her prospects. "It will be really good for me, and I'm completely open to it," Carano said. "If negotiations go good, we'll probably start filming that."

Check out everything we've got on "Fast & Furious 6."

Coldplay, Fun. On The Ropes In Musical March Madness' East Region

MMM powerhouses Coheed and Cambria, Tokio Hotel seem destined to battle for East supremacy. Vote in all first-round matchups now!
By James Montgomery

<P>MTV's third annual <a href="http://www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/">Musical March Madness</a> tournament is underway, and just like previous years, the first round is shaping up to be one for the ages, with unthinkable upsets brewing and nail-biting thrillers aplenty. </P><P> </P><P>Voting in our opening round runs until Sunday at midnight ET, so if your favorite band is locked in a fierce battle &#8212; Foo Fighters fans, we're looking at you &#8212; there's still time to turn the tide. And if you're out for total upset armageddon &#8212; James Durbin-ites, this is your time &#8212; vote accordingly. Either way, you can spread the word by downloading one of our custom MMM badges, or by using the hashtag <a href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?source=webclient&text=%23MMM" target="_blank">#MMM</a> on Twitter. This is, after all, <i>your</i> tournament. </P><P> </P><P><div style="background-color:#000000;width:428px;"><div style="padding:4px;"><iframe src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:748908/cp~id%3D1680630%26vid%3D748908%26instance%3Dmtv%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A748908" width="420" height="236" frameborder="0"></iframe></div></div> </P><P> </P><P><big><b><a href="http://www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/">Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket!</a></big></b> </P><P> </P><P>But with 64 bands duking it out for MMM supremacy, we realize sometimes those decisions aren't cut-and-dried ... which is why, all week long, we've been taking a look at each March Madness region (so far we've tackled the <a href="/news/articles/1680949/black-keys-my-chemical-romance-musical-march-madness.jhtml">Midwest</a> and the <a href="/news/articles/1681027/foo-fighters-blink-182-musical-march-madness-west.jhtml">West</a>), and today, we turn our attention to the erudite East, a bracket busting both bloggy faves (Arcade Fire, Radiohead, the Shins) and slightly scruffy sensitive types (Mumford &amp; Sons, Coldplay, etc.). </P><P> </P><P>It's also where two of the most successful MMM bands reside: <a href="/news/articles/1635611/mtvs-musical-march-madness-the-champion-is.jhtml">2010 champions Coheed and Cambria</a> and the always dangerous Tokio Hotel, who have advanced to the Final Four and the Elite 8 in their two previous campaigns. Can <i>anyone</i> stand in their way? Probably not, but let's take a look at all the opening-round matchups. </P><P> </P><P><b>#1 Mumford &amp; Sons vs. #16 F---ed Up</b>: It's the plaintive pluckers versus the brutal bruisers in round one, as top-seeded Mumford take on the always dangerous F---ed Up. Despite the impassioned pleas (and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/leftfordamian/status/179222794826027008" target="_blank">inspired trash-talk</a>) of F---ed frontman Damian Abraham, Mumford have dominated this one from the get-go and appear poised to waltz on to round two. </P><P> </P><P><b>#2 Coldplay vs. #15 Arctic Monkeys</b>: Given Coldplay's run of MMM disappointments (they've made it out of the first round <i>once</i>), perhaps this one shouldn't surprise us, but, <i>dang.</i> Thanks to the surprisingly fervent support of their fans, it's the Arctic Monkeys who hold the lead, though their grasp on victory seems to be slipping by the hour, as Coldplay rallies to close the gap. Who advances? We think this one is headed for upset city, and we're taking the Monkeys to move on. </P><P> </P><P><b>#3 Florence and the Machine vs. #14 Refused</b>: Florence Welch may not be the only female to advance to round two (especially given Paramore and Evanescence's early successes), but she might be the most unlikely. The selection committee believed that reformed Swedish punks Refused would take the upset here, but given Flo's massive lead, well, perhaps we were mistaken. She's a lock to advance at this point. </P><P> </P><P><b>#4 Muse vs. #13 Gym Class Heroes</b>: Muse made it to the Sweet 16 last year before running into the buzzsaw that is Tokio Hotel. They're at least going to make it to the second round this year, as they hold a commanding lead over a surprisingly sleepy GCH. Still, with Tokio lurking in round two, we wouldn't hold out much hope for Muse's return trip to the land of 16. But, for one week at least, they're a lock. </P><P> </P><P><center><a href="http://www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/"><img src="http://www.mtv.com/shared/promoimages/news/m/mmm_2012/bracket_promos/420x265.jpg"></a><br> </P><P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/"><b>Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket!</b></a></center> </P><P> </P><P><b>#5 Arcade Fire vs. #12 Tokio Hotel</b>: Speaking of TH, let's just say they're looking tough, currently pasting Arcade Fire by an historic margin (at last count, more than 144,000 votes). Perhaps it would have been best for Win Butler and company to just have skipped this year's tourney altogether. Watch out for Team Kaulitz. </P><P> </P><P><b>#6 Fun. vs. #11 Semi Precious Weapons</b>: Now this one could be interesting. Fun. jumped out to the early lead (having a massively successful single will tend to do that), but then watched as they wilted away. Thanks to the <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/preciousweapons/status/179340927838593026" content="_blank">tweeting</a> of SPW's Justin Tranter, it's the Weapons who now hold a sizeable advantage, and it looks like they're a lock to advance. Still, there <i>is</i> time, and we wouldn't discount the power of the Fueled by Ramen social squad just yet (hint, hint). </P><P> </P><P><b>#7 The Shins vs. #10 Coheed and Cambria</b>: Uh, yeah ... this one was pretty much over from the minute the MMM bracket was unveiled, and right now, thanks to their (beyond driven) Children of the Fence, Coheed are up big. Perhaps their only challengers in this bracket are Tokio Hotel, who loom in the Elite 8. It should be a worthy sequel to their now-infamous Final Four tilt in 2010, which Coheed eked out on their way to the title. </P><P> </P><P><b>#8 Radiohead vs. #9 Bruce Springsteen</b>: Sort of like pitting Duke vs. North Carolina in the opening round, this one has two legendary bands battling it out. And not surprisingly, it's been one of the closest competitions of MMM, with both sides exchanging the lead. Right now, it's Radiohead by roughly 1,700 votes, though this one will certainly come down to the wire. Too close to call. </P><P> </P><P><b>MTV's <a href="http://www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/"> 2012 Musical March Madness Tournament</a> is underway! Voting in the first round runs until midnight ET on Sunday, March 18, and winners are determined by fan votes, so if your favorite act made the cut, it'll be up to you to guide them to glory. You can rally the troops on Twitter using the hashtag <a href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?source=webclient&text=%23MMM" target="_blank">#MMM</a> or by downloading one of our <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2012/03/13/musical-march-madness-badges-facebook-twitter-here/">custom badges</a> &#8212; but get ready, it's gonna be a war.</b></p>

Black Eyed Peas Go Behind-The-Scenes In 'Don't Stop The Party' Video

Clip for third single off The Beginning gives view of life on the road.
By Jocelyn Vena

<P>Want to know what it's like to be in the Black Eyed Peas? The new video for the group's track "Don't Stop the Party," which <a href="http://www.aceshowbiz.com/video/download/00019287/" </P><P>target="_blank">hit the Internet</a> on Wednesday, is giving fans a bird's-eye view of life on the road. </P><P> </P><P>A mix of concert shots, behind-the-scenes footage and studio footage, it all blends together to paint a picture of life as a Black Eyed Pea. When they aren't onstage, the bandmembers are seen partying and having a good time dancing around. </P><P> </P><P>The song is the third single off <i>The Beginning.</i> Produced by DJ Ammo and will.i.am, it's a full-on club banger, much like previous singles "The Time (Dirty Bit)" and <a href="/news/articles/1659997/black-eyed-peas-japan-relief.jhtml">"Just Can't Get Enough."</a> The video for the latter helped raise funds for Japanese disaster relief after the tsunami. </P><P> </P><P>The track features heavy club beats, Auto-Tune and lots of house music elements, something that the team intended to include on the album as a whole. "<i>The E.N.D.</i> was a zeitgeist of the time, articulating that it's the end of the era," <a href="/news/articles/1653175/black-eyed-peas-were-still-passionate-for-the-beginning.jhtml">will.i.am told MTV News</a> last year. Mac Miller Shows Growth In Sold-Out New York Concert

'Now we got all the extra stuff. It's a different kind of show,' MC says of Macadelic tour on 'RapFix Live.'

If Mac Miller's Macadelic mixtape is all about growth, then his new and improved stage show is the visual representation of that.

It's hard to imagine that Mac's live show could have gotten that much better in the three short months between his Blue Slide Park run and his current Macadelic tour, but the 20-year-old Pittsburgh MC continues to master the stage, as he proved Wednesday night during his sold-out gig at New York City's Roseland Ballroom.

Visually, Mac's new trippy set design is a step up from the playground theme he used when he was on the road promoting BSP. "It's cool, man, it's a different type of thing. We were used to doing like the DJ, me and the hypeman and then that's it and the homeys," Mac said when he appeared on "RapFix Live" only hours before he took the stage. "Now we got all the extra stuff. We got like the cool visuals. It's a different kind of show."

For starters, there was a five-panel video screen that hovered above the stage displaying customized montages for each of the songs that Mac performed. There were colorful LCD lights, raised platforms and a gang of illuminated faux mushrooms on the stage. Miller didn't reveal all of the props all at once; instead, he pulled back the layers to his set design slowly as the hour-long show progressed.

It was just after 9:30 p.m. when DJ Clockwork jumped on the turntables playing "English Lane," the opening track to Mac's #1 debut album. Immediately afterward, the star rapper and his hypeman TreeJay stormed out onstage rapping along to "Blue Slide Park." Miller started out strong, throwing out his club-hopping anthem "Party on Fifth Ave." rather early before stopping to address the spirited crowd.

"New York City, what the f--- is good?" he shouted as the young concertgoers screamed ferociously for their rap hero. "My name is Mac Miller and I appreciate y'all coming out."

It was September 2010 when a then wet-behind-the-ears Mac performed his first show in NYC at the intimate SOB's, but on Wednesday night he returned a much different MC. Still, the Most Dope General didn't forget what got him here, so he ran through several songs from his 2010 K.I.D.S. mixtape, including "Don't Mind if I Do," "The Spins" and "Kool-Aid & Frozen Pizza." After he bounced around to the rambunctious "Knock Knock," the stage lights went low and the psychedelic mushroom props started to glow as the Mac emerged from the dark, spitting "Loud."

Since 2011 the energetic performer has rocked more than 200 shows, and while he made sure to roll out all of his fan favorites, he was clearly excited to put his new material on display. He slowed things down for the soul-searching "Thoughts From a Balcony," "Angels" and "F--- 'Em All" but picked things right up for his set-closing "Donald Trump." While rapping the words to his gold-selling single, Miller played to the crowd, encouraging a full-throated sing-along.

On the song's hook, Mac promises to "take over the world," yeah, one concert venue at a time.

What is your favorite Mac Miller live performance? Tell us in the comments!

'Boardwalk Empire' Season Three Teasers: 'New Year, New Rules'

Previews suggest that we're dealing with a very different Nucky Thompson.
By Kevin P. Sullivan

Warning: Spoilers ahead for those who haven't watched season two of "Boardwalk Empire."

HBO has started to roll out short previews for the upcoming third season of its Prohibition drama "Boardwalk Empire," and as the first teaser tells us, this is a new year, and there are some new rules.

Suffice it to say, we're dealing with a very different Nucky Thompson.

The second season's finale saw Steve Buscemi's character not so much breaking bad, but finally showing his true colors. Until then, Nucky had been a man who delivered orders and not bullets to the head. The last episode changed everything, however, when Nucky took out his onetime ward, Jimmy Darmody.

In the first of the two new teasers, which feature dialogue from the season premiering this fall but no new footage, we hear Nucky explaining how his plan for the new year has changed. He talks about simplifying things for everyone involved, which we can probably assume means for ruthless business.

The clip closes out with a line that definitely signals that the Nucky we saw in the season two finale is here to stay: "Put a bullet in his f---ing head." It's more direct talk than we're used to hearing from Nucky, but now that we know he is "Not. Seeking. Forgiveness," this kind of talk isn't that surprising.

The second teaser examines what's left of Nucky and Margaret's relationship after her decision to sign the land over to the church.

We figured that things would not be exactly peachy between the couple, but we'll have to wait until "Boardwalk Empire" returns in the fall to see just how bad things get.

Britney Spears Offered $10 Million To Join 'X Factor'

Contract could be signed as early as next week.

After a few rough professional and personal years, Aguilera has gone a long way toward reclaiming her A-list status thanks to the success of her performance on "The Voice." </P><P> </P><P>Cowell reportedly reached out personally to Spears to get the conversation rolling and he's been talking her up lately, saying in that same conference call, "are we flattered there would be interest from Britney Spears? Yes." In a later interview, he said he was "fascinated" with Spears and praised her resilience after a rough period during which she endured some very public personal struggles. </P><P> </P><P>Jackson's name was in the hopper until recently, when she revealed that, while flattered by the offer, the TV gig just would not jibe with the <a href="/news/articles/1680297/x-factor-janet-jackson.jhtml">professional commitments</a>&#8232; already on her calendar this year.</p>

'Think Like A Man' Ends 'Hunger Games' Box-Office Streak

Zac Efron's 'The Lucky One' also beat out 'Games' over the weekend.

In the end, it wasn't any sort of dastardly villain who conquered the heroes of "The Hunger Games." No, the four-week box-office reign of the adaptation of the popular YA novel was ended by none other than Steve Harvey and Zac Efron, whose respective new movies performed quite impressively over the weekend.

"Think Like a Man" was #1 with a $33 million opening, boasting a higher per-screen average than any other movie with a nationwide release this year, save for "Games" and "Dr. Seuss the Lorax." With a story based on the lessons given in comedian Steve Harvey's self-help tome "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man," the film gave Screen Gems their second-best opening (behind "The Vow") and third #1 in 2012 so far.

Screen Gems only spent a reported $13 million making "Think Like a Man." Many industry watchers predicted an opening at least $10 million lower, more in line with the intake of the #2 movie at the box office this week, "The Lucky One." The Zac Efron-led tearjerker opened with $22.8 million. That's much higher than Efron's "Charlie St. Cloud" ($12.4 million) though somewhat less than "17 Again" ($23.7 million). It's the second-biggest opening for a movie based on a Nicholas Sparks book, behind "Dear John" ($30.5 million). Box Office Mojo noted that "The Lucky One" actually sold more tickets than "The Notebook" too, though it earned less actual cash.

"The Lucky One" was pretty unlucky with critics, however. Richard Roeper called it "well-acted schmaltz with some gaping plot holes." Eric D. Snider described "The Lucky One" as "exactly the kind of sappy hogwash that Efron's detractors think is the only thing he's capable of doing." The movie did receive a B+ CinemaScore from moviegoers who saw it, although 56 percent of them admitted that Efron was the main reason they went to see the film, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"The Hunger Games" was #3 with $14.5 million for a five-week total of $356.9 million. The first in a planned trilogy, "Games" now sits at #19 on the list of all-time box-office grosses, right between "Jurassic Park" ($357 million) and the third "Transformers" movie, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" ($352.3 million). "The Hunger Games" has made more than any "Twilight" movie and is ahead of every "Harry Potter" flick except "Deathly Hallows, Part 2," which made $381 million.

"Games" did manage to hold off one of the weekend's new films, "Chimpanzee," though the Disneynature film still managed the third-highest opening for a documentary ever. "Chimpanzee" was #4 with $10.2 million, placing it behind docs "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" ($29.5 million) and "Fahrenheit 9/11" ($23.9 million). "Chimpanzee" had a 77 percent "fresh" score on film review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. "Walt Disney himself couldn't have scripted 'Chimpanzee' any better," wrote Newsday's Rafer Guzman. The Washington Post's Michael O'Sullivan wrote, "one wonders whether more than a few viewers won't want to take home a baby chimp."

The Farrelly brothers' take on "The Three Stooges" rounded out the top five with $9.2 million during its second weekend, bringing the comedy's total to $29.4 million.

"Titanic 3-D" continued to top the international box office, bringing its overseas total to $225.7 million. "Battleship" has made $129.6 million abroad.

Next weekend's new films include "The Raven," starring John Cusack as a fictionalized version of Edgar Allan Poe; Jason Statham action flick "Safe"; R-rated comedy "The Five-Year Engagement," from the team behind "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"; and animated kids' movie "Pirates! Band of Misfits."
