Adding to the hype of what's sure to be a major blockbuster film this summer, five new promo posters for Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" have been released.
The action-packed artwork was revealed on SuperHeroHype Forums while featuring shots of The Bat, Batman, Bane and Catwoman - with one of them including Batman (Christian Bale) lunging towards the camera fist-first and another depicting a mid-air fight between Batman and Bane.
"The Dark Knight Rises" takes place eight years after Batman took the fall for Two Face's crimes and he's faced with a new terrorist leader, Bane, who overwhelms Gotham's finest forcing the Dark Knight to resurface to protect a city that has branded him an enemy.
Scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 20, "The Dark Knight Rises" is Nolan's third and final Batman movie starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman.
